Ada Rajković is a Belgrade- and San Francisco-based filmmaker working across documentary and experimental cinema. Her practice combines ethnographic research, archival investigation, and formally inventive approaches to storytelling, often engaging with themes of memory, counter histories, and cultural erasure.

She holds a BFA in Photo and Media from CalArts and an MA in Ethnographic Documentary from University College London. Her films have screened internationally and received recognition at European festivals, including the New Balkan Film Festival in Stockholm, where Living Among the Dead won Best Visualisation. Her experimental short Soul Storm was selected for Labocine’s 2026 Science New Wave Archives program.

In parallel with her filmmaking practice, Rajković has founded and led artist-run initiatives and curated large-scale public programs, collaborating with emerging and established artists whose work has since gained international visibility. Her projects and exhibitions have been featured in outlets including CNN, Dazed, Flaunt, Hyperallergic, and Vice.

Ada is currently developing her first feature-length documentary, continuing her commitment to research-driven, visually experimental and socially engaged nonfiction cinema.
